“As Scripture says, ‘Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.’ For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’” Romans 10:11-15
Is it simple? YES! Is it easy? NO. Thank You God, You only hold us accountable to do our best in Your strength and in Your will, then leave the results for You! Also, thank You God, You pave the way for us to reach all - Jew and Gentile! In particular, here in Buffalo. You have already sent the whole world to us!
In the world, we “look before we leap.” But in God’s Kingdom, thank You God again, our help comes from You, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). Therefore we “Pray before we Act”! Pray for Divine Appointments, pray for sensitivity because wherever we are at and whoever we encounter regularly or spontaneously - all could be the designated appointments from our Lord!
Today I just received a cute and colorful marketing email: “Get ready to run, walk, bike, eat and more this Summer!” Yes, let us get ready for our Lord! Let us lift all summer, fall and daily routine (work, school, grocery shopping, dog walking, etc.) to our Lord God as a gospel-sharing conduit. Then draw God’s strength and wisdom to do all these with specific intent, while having joy and fun!
People may need to spend tons of money in a gym or spa to make their feet beautiful. But we just need to seek God first and share His Gospel then our feet will become beautiful for “free”! We are so blessed! Thank You, God!
Prayer Focus: Dear Heavenly Father, the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few (John 10:2). Help us commit to be Your disciple, be Christ-like and well equipped to share the Gospel through words and deeds, all for Your Glory! Thank You, Dear Father, Son and Holy Spirit! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
